Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Heartfelt Creations - January Release!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

It's time for the new release for January!!!

Heartfelt Creations has created a delightful ‘Countryside Evening’ for you. There’s beautiful typography, countryside scenes, one awesome die, and 24 beautiful papers. This set is a beautiful choice for the beautiful moments. Get yours now at www.heartfeltcreations.us. Leave a comment on the HC blog by January 15th and you will be eligible to win the entire release valued at $150.92 .

Here is my first creation with this beautiful Collection, a pocket card...

This beautiful image is from the Floral Fence Set.  I've colored it with pencils and mineral spirits, fussy cut it, and placed it on a Decorative Labels 1 die cut.  It's hard to tell in the photo, but this is a pocket card I created using a triangle shape.  You can see the sentiment insert card outside the pocket in this next picture.

When it's inside the pocket, it's barely visable behind the image except for a tiny bit of the Decorative Blossom Corner Die on top.  (You can click on either picture to get a better view.)

You'll definitely want to visit the HC Blog to see all the beautiful new products and creations by the designers and leave a comment for a chance to win the entire release!

I'm submitting this to the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #62 - Always anything goes
Really Reasonable Ribbon #63 - My new toys - new stamps and dies

I hope this inspires you to create and maybe try something new!

Blessings!

Kathy

  4. Kathy: Well, I really enjoyed stopping by Heartfelt Creations and seeing the new release and all the wonderful samples. I have to say, although a bit prejudiced, I like your sample using that stamp the best. There's just something about the dark background behind it that really makes it POP! And of course....that bow! I really do need to get that tool. Your art is always such a blessing, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this with us in our challenge. Hope you have a great week in the Lord.
