Be Joyful

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

These are verses I memorized years ago and they are written on my heart. There are times when I still need to remember not to be anxious, but I eventually listen to my heart saying these verses. I didn't really understand what the "peace of God" was until I experienced it. It's having peace inside you, even when you're going through heartbreaking situations and trials. It does "surpass ALL understanding" and you know it comes from GOD alone. Praise the Lord for His wonderful promises!

I love, love, love what I do. I am passionate about the things I create and the talents God has placed in me. I SO appreciate the time you take to look at my things and the comments you all leave me!

Blessings to you!

Thank You So Much - Heartfelt Creations

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a little inspiration from Heartfelt Creations!  This week I have a thank you card for you!

I just love these new stamps and dies!  What beautiful flowers and flourishes you can make with this collection!  I love the delicate lace dies from the Arianna Lace Die, so beautiful!

If you click on the photo, you can get a better view.  Here's a close up of the side for you too so you can see the different layers!

The flowers were stamped on white card stock with Pixie Pink Ink and heat embossed with Detail Clear Embossing Powder.  It's hard to see in the photo, but they were also sprayed with Sparkle Shimmer Spritz which looks really pretty with the Diamond Stickles and Tu-Tu Pink Prills in the centers.  I love this pink and light green color combination, so soft and feminine!

Make sure to visit the HC Blog to see all the beautiful creations by the designers this week!

Love You Much - CottageCutz

Happy Sunday!

Today I have a sweet love card using 2 dies from the Scrapping Cottage, Flourish Love Heart and Plumeria & Leaves.

The flowers and leaves were cut with white card stock and colored with chalk inks using make up applicators and sponges.  I shaped them a little and added some “Lemon Chiffon“ Mini Prills to the flower centers.

The heart was cut with yellow card stock, glued to the white mat and them embossed with the Perfect Polka Embossing Folder.  I then add the leaves and flowers around the side of the heart.

The white mat was glued to a yellow mat with the sentiment stamped on the bottom.  This was then added to a Weathered Wood card base using pop dots.  I added trim, adhesive pearls, bow and button.

These are the dies I used:

Card recipe:

Stamp: Well Scripted (SU)
Paper: White (Recollections), yellow (DCWV Stack), Weathered Wood Distressed (Coredinations)
Ink: Onyx Black (VersaFine), Aegean Blue (VersaMagic), Blue Moon, Green With Envy, Green Tea, Banana Bliss (PowderPuffs - Quick Quotes)

With You Always Easel Card - Heartfelt Creations

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration!  Today I have an easel card using more of the Arianna Blooms Collection released last week!

I used one of the 6" x 6" designer papers for the mat on the front, so it is a larger card than I normally do, 6 3/8" square when closed.  In order to make it into an easel card, I had to used 12" x 12" card stock and add an extra piece on the inside to extend it.  (Full instructions are at the bottom on my post.)

Here's a picture of the front only.

The main image, hummingbird and flowers were all colored with pencils and mineral spirits.  Here's a close up for you.

Here's a picture of the card opened flat.

And a picture of the inside only.  The panel across the bottom is raised up with pop dots to keep the card open as an easel.  The vine image is stamped directly on the panel from the designer paper and color with pencils and mineral spirits.

Be sure to visit the HC Blog to see what the designers have created for you!

Starburst Notecard

Happy Monday!

Today I have a little notecard and matching envelope to show you using leftover pieces from my last project, the Happy Anniversary Easel Card.  I've used the Starburst Flower, Greenery and Elegant Envelope CottageCutz Dies.

This is a super quick and easy project to put together for a pretty notecard to go with a gift.  The envelope was made using black card stock that I added the large Starburst Flower to using Le Creme designer paper and then just added a rhinestone flower to the center.  The notecard was made using more of the designer paper for the card base and flower and then black for the Greenery.  I finished it off with three little rhinestones on the bottom corner.

These are the dies I used:

Project Recipe:

Paper: Le Creme (DCWV), Black (Recollections)
Accessories: Rhinestones, rhinestone flower, Aleene's Paper Glaze, Xyron Create-a-sticker Machine.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blessings!
